About The Position

At a Glance Legrand has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Finance Intern to join the Corporate Operations Finance Team in West Hartford, CT for Summer 2026. The Operations Finance Intern will support the Operations Finance team in forecasting, cost analysis, inventory reporting, and strategic project support. This role provides hands-on experience with financial processes, analytics, and systems. What Will You Do? Assist in financial variance analysis focused on COGS, gross margin, inventory, and capital reporting. Support dashboards and KPI reporting for operational performance. Participate in forecasting cycles across Operations, Logistics, and Manufacturing. Provide operational and financial analysis including efficiencies, cost behavior, and trends. Support strategic operations projects such as inventory optimization, footprint modeling, and make-buy assessments. Create and maintain reporting templates and dashboards. Update Real Estate Database ensuring complete and accurate data. Learn and assist with SAP, BPC, Planful, and BI tools. Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics or related field.
  • College Junior or higher preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and financial acumen.
  • Ability to “run with” a project with little guidance.
  • Strong ability to analyze data and trends and make recommendations.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel (and other MS Office tools).
  • Positive attitude.
  • Ethics and values.
  • Presentation skills.
