As the Operations Finance Director, you will provide strategic and financial guidance and develop all necessary policies and procedures to ensure the company's financial commitments are met. Other responsibilities include coordinating, maintaining, and controlling accounting and financial reporting for respective area and overseeing the budget process, strategic planning, financial transactions, capital projects, and fixed asset management.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of relevant work experience required in operations finance, manufacturing knowledge and experience.
  • 8-10 years of relevant work experience required in a supervisory or a managerial role.
  • 4 Year / Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field of study required.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional certification (CPA, CMA) and/or an MBA are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the annual budgeting/target setting process for the business units along with monthly forecasting process.
  • Direct oversight for a team of division controllers and indirect oversight over the entire operations finance area.
  • Actively upgrade the business unit through professional development, coaching, feedback, mentoring and creating career paths for team members.
  • Demonstrate effective leadership, supervising and interpersonal skills to instruct or assign work to others, motivate and coach, and evaluate work performance; establish trust and inspire others.
  • Drive continuous improvement with financial systems to advance how the company analyzes and uses data. Leverage technology to eliminate or streamline unnecessary reporting and processes.
  • Drive fact-based decisions by defining the right key performance indicators, establishing a financial framework for decision making and providing a financial view of the business.
  • Provide financial support and oversight by coordinating and communicating with various levels within the organization.
  • Monitor operational statistics; report trends, variances and issues; take appropriate action including proactively notifying business or financial partners/superiors.
  • Manage and prepare key strategic and business analyses and provide support to the decision-making process.
  • Prepare appropriate financial analysis to validate business decisions and guide operations management.
  • Effectively drive and manage change, challenge the status quo and champion new and innovative ideas.
