About The Position

We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Operations Excellence Intern to join our team and support process improvement initiatives that make a real impact. This internship is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in operational strategy, lean principles, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced industry. We are looking for students who can start in Q1 (February 2026).

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the US
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Currently a third year student graduating Spring 2027, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI) is a plus.
• Self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Interest in Lean methodologies, process improvement, or project management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Operations Excellence team in identifying and implementing process improvements across multiple departments.
• Assist in gathering and analyzing operational data to drive efficiency and reduce waste.
• Participate in Lean, Six Sigma, and other projects to support business objectives.
• Create clear and organized process documentation, standard work instructions, and visual management tools.
• Help track performance metrics and build reports to measure improvement progress.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams in production, supply chain, quality, and engineering.
