Provide support for Centers operations, event planning, and administrative tasks including, but not limited to: Assist in planning and coordinating all centers events. Communicate with faculty, students, other stakeholders about Centers events and opportunities. Book photographers, videographers, setup and takedown, assist with website updates and other tasks necessary to host events. Coordinate the booking of the CIE on-campus space, SB 109 Coordinate with the other Centers student workers such as social media & student engagement, student fellows, and Directors, to ensure fluidity and consistency across all platforms. Attend events to support the effective functioning of events when schedule permits. Conduct research for the Centers. Assist with creating email marketing announcements and other promotional materials. Act as student representative at specified School of Business and Centers events. Represent and answer questions about the Centers with prospective students and families at open house and admissions events. As needed, represent the Centers at events such guest speakers and other on-campus or virtual events. Planned dates are listed below; the event schedule will be confirmed at the beginning of each semester. Demonstrate professionalism and sound judgement while representing the Centers. Attend weekly team meetings and participate in all GA-specific training sessions. Graduate assistants will report to the Director of Operations for School of Business Centers. Maintain a pre-set work schedule, with ability to work weekends for open house and admitted student events; work schedule will be set at the beginning of each semester to accommodate your class schedule. Other duties as assigned.
