The Operations Engineering Manager at Apogee Semiconductor is responsible for overseeing the implementation, management, and optimization of manufacturing processes for the product line. This role involves leading a team of engineers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring efficient operations and continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.

  • Oversee the end-to-end manufacturing process, from requirements gathering to workflow definition and implementation of measurement and tracking methodology.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand operational needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Coordinate with product development teams to establish best practices, quality standards, and manufacturing flow for product lines.
  • Define and source business agreements with outside vendors for manufacturing processes.
  • Evaluate operations and manufacturing processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to optimize efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Implement dashboards for performance metrics, data analysis, and automated solutions to monitor and improve operations processes.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies to ensure successful project execution.
  • Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure timely completion of deliverables within budget.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop reports and dashboards for manufacturing data analysis.
  • Provide guidance and support in leveraging data analysis tools and techniques to derive insights and drive data-driven decision-making in manufacturing operations.
  • Communicate with stakeholders, providing updates on project status, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Establish relationships with external vendors and partners to leverage expertise and resources when necessary.
  • Work with IT manager to integrate manufacturing data from various sources into a database.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering field.
  • Four (4) years of experience in Semiconductor Engineering as a test, product, or design engineer for analog or power integrated circuits.
  • Experience in semiconductor product manufacturing, including packaging and assembly, test and yield analysis/optimization, qualification, and lot screening.
  • Knowledge of IC reliability and qualification requirements.
  • Logistics experience with manufacturing flow from wafer foundry to customer shipments, including packaging and test.
  • Proficiency in utilizing data analysis tools such as Python, STDF Parsing, and Wafer Map Analysis.
  • Experience with reporting and visualization platforms like PowerBI and LaTeX.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and data requirements, including production metrics, quality control, and supply chain management.
