Requirements

Seven (7) years of relevant experience
Advanced vendor certifications such as JNCIP, JNCIE, CCNP, or CCIE.
Experience developing or reviewing network designs in large, distributed enterprise environments.
Familiarity with STIGs, IAVM processes, compliance baselines, and RMF-related engineering controls.
Experience supporting Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes aligned with ITIL.
Experience leading integration lab activities including configuration, validation, burn-in, and pre-deployment testing.
Strong analytical skills for evaluating performance data, configuration drift, and root causes of operational issues.
Must have an active Secret clearance
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent

Responsibilities

Ensure technical alignment across legacy operations, site surveys, modernization, and modernized operations.
Review and refine base-specific designs to ensure coverage for mission elements, facilities, offices, communications spaces, and inter-building connectivity.
Ensure designs meet SLA-driven performance requirements while controlling cost.
Conduct continuous monitoring of deployed solutions to confirm adherence to configuration baselines, capacity targets, and operational performance standards.
Oversee Network Integration Laboratory activities for configuration development, validation, and burn-in prior to deployment.
Oversee Integrated Test Facility activities used for validating post-deployment configuration changes including STIG applications, IAVM updates, and approved Change Requests.
Maintain configuration baselines, golden configurations, and enterprise engineering standards.
Direct P1 and P2 technical escalations and coordinate technical restoration efforts.
Validate emergency changes to ensure compliance with engineering, security, and operational requirements.
Produce after-action reports, trend analyses, and engineering recommendations for PMO and operations teams.
Mentor shift leads and technical staff to ensure consistent engineering discipline and operational execution.
