Essential Responsibilities: In this role, you'll provide a variety of technical engineering support services to ensure reliable electric transmission system operations. You’ll use your bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related degree with experience in transmission system operations to analyze transmission system problems using steady-state, dynamic and electromagnetic tools, perform event analysis, and collaborate on the development of operating plans for our System Operators. You’ll also collaborate with regional and national entities to assist in the development of transmission reliability processes, procedures and best practices and perform transmission outage coordination studies jointly with other transmission owners and regional entities. The targeted base pay for this position is $93,600 to $109,200 annually. Base pay is one component of our comprehensive total rewards package which includes an annual incentive bonus, employer-sponsored pension plan, 401(k) match, HSA contribution, life & disability insurance, health care benefits, generous time off plans, flexible work arrangements, and much more. The pay range is a general guideline. Employment offers are evaluated individually and consider qualifications, experience, academic achievements, internal equity, and business needs. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related degree with experience in transmission system operations

Responsibilities

Provide a variety of technical engineering support services to ensure reliable electric transmission system operations.
Analyze transmission system problems using steady-state, dynamic and electromagnetic tools.
Perform event analysis.
Collaborate on the development of operating plans for our System Operators.
Collaborate with regional and national entities to assist in the development of transmission reliability processes, procedures and best practices.
Perform transmission outage coordination studies jointly with other transmission owners and regional entities.
