About The Position

Lead quality excellence and operations engineering scalability for global data center hardware fulfillment operations as we launch new sites and scale to 2-5x volume growth. Own end-to-end quality strategy, design scalable processes and automation, and shape operational standards that power critical cloud infrastructure for millions of customers—with high executive visibility and direct business impact in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where your innovations drive the future of hyperscale operations. The Janus Engineering team is crucial to OTS Supply Chain Fulfillment Operations. This multidisciplinary group designs, builds, and maintains infrastructure, tools, and processes for lean hardware fulfilment Operations. Combining expertise in Ops Engineering, Analytics, Quality Engineering, Materials Management, and Learning & Training, they continuously optimize Rapid Asset Deployment (RAD) processes for performance, reliability, and scalability.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of industrial engineer, operations engineer, manufacturing engineer, or project engineer in a manufacturing environment experience
  • Bachelor's degree in industrial or manufacturing engineering
  • Experience with Six Sigma, lean manufacturing
  • Experience working with and managing third party vendors

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, VBA, and SQL at the intermediate level
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and MS Project) at an advanced level

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain PFMEA and control plans throughout the life cycle of a process. Use PFMEA to identify potential failures, their effects, and implement preventive actions.
  • Own disposition of defective equipment by developing metrics and maintain a quarantine cage.
  • Drive the resolution of issues identified.
  • Manage the process/product quality audit program. Document audit findings and ensure proper corrective actions are taken.
  • Define and own the quality metrics reported daily to the leadership team. Ensure the metrics are accurate, relevant, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Perform root cause analysis on customer issues, provide effective corrective actions and drive them to completion.
  • Manage change management requests and obtain approvals from appropriate stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary quality contact on the production floor. Communicate relevant quality-related details at the start and end of each shift.
  • Assist in and facilitate process improvement initiatives, providing subject matter expertise and support.
  • Assist in the roll-out of new processes and equipment by performing quality inspections and trial runs.
  • Own and develop standard policies and procedures for processes within operations. Ensure SOPs are up-to-date and followed consistently.
