The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services Process and Systems Transformation (PST) Team: RTX has an opening for an Operations Engineer - ITMS Frameworks/ITIL (Infrastructure/Service Management) (Manager, Information Workplace Services) position. Support our large‑scale S/4HANA landscape and its supporting applications Focus on sustaining day‑to‑day IT operations through ServiceNow and ITSM practices Manage relationships with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) Support the stability and governance of our Azure‑based infrastructure Drive operational excellence by maintaining documentation, ensuring strong vendor performance, and supporting reliable, well‑governed services across hybrid environments.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8+ years’ experience with ServiceNow and IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or related discipline or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree
  • IT Operations experience, overseeing infrastructure, service management
  • Vendor management experience, with a proven track record of holding third‑party providers accountable
  • Oversee Azure cloud environments and IT operations, with a focus on governance, vendor management, and resilience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting SAP or SAP S/4HANA environments
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and identity/access management (IAM)
  • Understanding of basic networking fundamentals (routing, firewalls, authentication).

Responsibilities

  • Support the sustainment of large‑scale S/4HANA environments and supporting applications in partnership with MSPs or RISE with SAP providers.
  • Sustain IT operations using ServiceNow and ITSM practices, ensuring smooth service delivery and governance
  • Own vendor relationships, tracking SLAs, KPIs, and driving accountability across managed service providers
  • Develop and maintain documentation of system processes, procedures, and IT governance standards
  • Strong understanding of identity and access management (IAM), including Active Directory and Azure AD
