About The Position

Operations Engineer III - AMZ14245.7 Employer: Amazon.com Services LLC Position: Operations Engineer III (multiple positions available) Location: Bellevue, WA Multiple Positions Available: 1. Identify, develop, and refine supply chain inputs into topology and timing data science models. 2. Deploy and integrate network design optimization changes output from data science models. 3. Identify, scope, and formalize data science model feature development needs used in network design. 4. Identify, develop and integrate innovative solutions and programs that lead to improvements that redefine the standards for network design in our North American Transportation Network. 5. Partner broadly with engineering, operations, and IT functions to identify opportunities to ship packages faster and cheaper while delivering on-time to meet customer promises. 6. Establish goals to realize opportunities while working within a matrix organization to deliver results. 7. Strategize and implement program initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives. 8. Formulate plans with detailed calculations, drawings, diagrams, project specifications and entitlement estimates. 9. Share project scope and objectives through technical document reviews with various leadership teams. 10. Develop project metrics that measure system performance and cost impacts. 11. Develop and manage budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives. 12. Work with other transportation and operations partners to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department. 13. Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for management and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • A Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial engineering or, Business, Management, or related field and 5 year of experience in job offered or related occupation.
  • 5 year of experience utilizing AutoCAD to design and construct projects.
  • 5 year of experience utilizing analytical tools to design data charts and graphs including strategic layout design and planning.
  • 5 year of experience leading cross-functional operations teams to provide design input and management techniques.
  • 5 year of experience reporting and presenting engineering analysis and recommendations to senior leadership.
