About The Position

Soleo Health is seeking an Operations Director of Pharma Relations to build and drive the operational infrastructure that enables efficient, high-quality execution across the full lifecycle of pharma-related proposals, contracting, and program implementation. This role leads and drives operational execution by managing processes, coordinating cross-functional activities, and ensuring operational efficiency for the Pharma Relations team. This role is responsible for enabling consistent, efficient execution across the Pharma Relations lifecycle, including RFP development, contract workflows, and implementation readiness. Pharma Relations owns the full lifecycle of pharma-related contracts and proposals, from initial intake and RFP response through contract execution and implementation. This role focuses on the operational infrastructure, coordination, and execution required to support that lifecycle. This role does not own manufacturer relationships or program strategy but is responsible for enabling efficient execution, coordination, and delivery across the Pharma Relations lifecycle. Operating at the intersection of proposal development, contracting, and execution, this role partners closely with the Pharma Relations team and the Pharma Relations Rare Disease Business Development team, Legal, Clinical, Finance, Sales, Operations, and Technology teams. Success in this role requires strong ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders while driving the work forward in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, communications, public policy, or related field preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience in healthcare or specialty pharmacy, with direct involvement in contracting, RFP/proposal development, and project management.
  • Strong technical and business writing skills, with the ability to translate clinical, regulatory, and operational concepts into clear, evaluator-ready documentation.
  • Proven project management experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage accuracy, compliance, and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, including executive-ready reporting and stakeholder engagement
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project)
  • Familiarity with proposal platforms (e.g., RFPIO, Loopio) and contract management systems (e.g., Lexion, LinkSquares)

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of the specialty pharmacy landscape, infusion therapies, clinical coordination models, accreditation standards, and healthcare reimbursement structures
  • Experience working with service level agreements, pricing exhibits, and performance guarantees
  • Comfort working with utilization data, quality metrics, and translating data into clear narrative

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the contracting process by partnering with legal and internal stakeholders to draft, review, redline, and facilitate execution of manufacturer contracts related to access, data, and services.
  • Align contract documentation with operational capabilities, reimbursement models, compliance requirements, and internal risk controls.
  • Ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency across contractual documentation
  • Own the operational execution of the RFP process from intake through submission, including coordination, of inputs, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality RFP submissions by managing workflows, content integration, and stakeholder contributions.
  • Utilize the RFP repository to populate and maintain standard responses, coordinating updates with internal subject matter experts.
  • Structure proposals and synthesize clinical, technical, and operational content into clear, cohesive submissions.
  • Ensure compliance with RFP specifications, timelines, and evaluation criteria
  • Maintain and continuously improve the RFP repository/library.
  • Develop and manage implementation plans to support the transition of awarded contracts into operational readiness.
  • Define scope, timelines, milestones, KPIs, and cross-functional handoffs required for successful program launch.
  • Coordinate cross-functional handoffs across Operations, Clinical, Finance, and Technology to ensure a smooth transition from contract execution to program launch.
  • Facilitate structured reviews with Legal, Compliance, Clinical Services, Patient Access, Finance, Technology/PMO, and Sales.
  • Drive coordination, issue tracking, and resolution across teams to support timely execution of deliverables.
  • Provide clear status updates, track decisions, and escalate risks as needed.
  • Maintain and standardize proposal and contract content, including standard responses, case studies, service descriptions, bios, and qualifications.
  • Partner with the Pharma Relations Program Manager and PMO to ensure business rules, workflows, and documentation are current, consistent, and accessible.
  • Track progress, risks, and dependencies; produce status reporting, dashboards, and post-award debriefs.
  • Capture lessons learned and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and consistency across workflows.
  • Establish and maintain operational processes, tools, and documentation that enable Program Management and Business Development teams to effectively execute and manage manufacturer programs
