Mechanical knowledge is a must. Effective communication skills. The ability to climb ladders, bend, stoop, or stand for long periods. In addition, individuals must be able to reach above their shoulders and lift a minimum of 60 pounds. Will be exposed to outdoor hot/humid and dusty/dirty work environment. This position is a safety-sensitive position and requires a clear mind and diligence. The employee has the responsibility for his/her safety as well as the safety of others.

Requirements

5 years of experience in maintenance working with heavy equipment
1 year of experience in a supervisor or other management role requiring a thorough knowledge of safe working practices, OSHA, and other federal and state regulations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word

Responsibilities

The Depackaging Facility Supervisor supervises the workflow of materials through the depackaging system concerning procedure, safety, budget, quality control, and productivity.
You will ensure the highest standards of environmental Safety and operational excellence by effectively managing the day-to-day operations of the Depackager and managing the costs efficiently within the operation.
In addition, the Depackaging Supervisor works with external service vendors and internal logistics personnel.
Daily reporting and meeting with the Area and Regional Managers.
Updates and submits required reports promptly.
Complies with OSHA and EPA regulations and ensures adherence to Safe Work Practices to encourage safe and efficient operations.
Ensures the cleanliness and maintenance of the equipment through daily cleaning, inspections, and preventive maintenance programs
