About The Position

We are seeking a responsible, organized, and safety-conscious Operations Delivery Driver to join our team. This role will report to the Operations Manager and be responsible for washing, delivery, and collection of cups. This role will use r.World's 16ft box truck and its hydraulic liftgate to pick up and transport reusable cups and serve ware between r.World's wash hub and our customers' facilities. Requirements

  • 2+ years' experience operating a box truck or equivalent vehicle (professional experience preferred)
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record (commercial driver's license preferred)
  • Ability to drive for extended periods in all weather
  • Strong commitment to safety
  • Physically able to push, lift, and carry 50 pounds
  • Experience operating a pallet jack
  • Proficient in using GPS and other routing systems
  • Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance
  • Great time management and organizational skills
  • Self-starter who works well independently
  • Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Perform order deliveries and collections using company box trucks; log time and miles, refuel and clean vehicle, regularly inspect trucks, and report road incidents.
  • Load and unload cups into the truck, customer venues, and wash hub.
  • Work closely with the Operations Director to execute daily delivery and pickup plans.
  • Represent r.World in a professional manner when client interactions are required.
  • Comply with all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
  • Complete pre-and post-trip safety and operations checklists and documentation.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of the local area and most efficient routes.
  • As needed, support wash cycle activities, including cup sorting, washing, buffing, inspections, packing cases, and order fulfillment.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and organized box truck.
