Primary Responsibilities: Answer and follow up on phone inquiries in a business-oriented manner Greet visitors, drivers, and customers in a professional manner Maintain quality records and Mill Test Reports in accordance with Quality procedures Research and generate necessary paperwork for Service Center management Create and coordinate outbound and inbound paperwork for effective material movement Perform system stock checks to ensure inventory accuracy (SAP) Ensure inventory accuracy by reviewing documents from the floor are completed in accordance with SPS policy Maintain a clean and well-organized office area Attend all scheduled safety, department, and company meetings as required Physical & Work Requirements: Office environment with occasional warehouse or yard exposure Facility is a multiple shift operation. Must possess the ability to work a flexible schedule and be on-call at various times including possible weekends and holidays. Smart casual attire, i.e. jeans and a nice shirt Required Background, Competencies & Expertise: Understanding of SPS policies and procedures Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Procedures Detail-oriented and excellent observational skills Communication Customer orientation Problem solving Composure Teamwork Strong computer, tablet, scanner, or mobile device skills High School diploma or G.E.D.
