This is an on-site position for the first ninety (90) days minimum at our facility in Doraville, Georgia. After the candidate is trained, a hybrid work schedule will be optional with no more than two days per week remote, three days in office. Remote days cannot be consecutive. SUMMARY This position provides the support and supervision for the Ryder Rebuild Center accounting. The Ryder Rebuild Center is a support organization within Ryder FMS to provide heavy duty alternators, tool calibration, and heavy duty electrical knowledge and support to Ryder locations. Additionally, we support Ryder SCS and DTS with special projects. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS -Month-end close, JV preparation, P&L review, billing preparation, and correction entry processing. -BCT support program assistance includes approving repair estimates, monitoring group email box, and responding to customer inquiries. Position requires working closely with Shop Manager who is the primary administrator. -Rebuild Center creating invoices, running reports, and maintaining customer and inventory tables in the Access database. -Rebuild Center inventory administration using Excel for sub-assembly and finished product parts. Processing receipts, repair orders, adding part numbers and maintaining master files to ensure accuracy in reporting. -Prepare shipments using both UPS Worldship for packages, and LTL carriers for palletized shipments. Responsible for export documentation preparation when needed. -Scan and send invoices and reports to other Ryder divisions as needed. -Administer the tool calibration program, including validating monthly listing of locations to ship to, processing repair orders, and RMA requests. -Accounts payable - prepare, code, scan, and process invoices in Workday. -Monthly reconciliation of physical inventory to book and book to GL. -Quarterly balance sheet reconciliation & review of asset accounts -Workday purchases - create requisitions, receipts, and email POs to suppliers. -Freight - review weekly freight bills for approval and reconcile monthly freight charges ensuring bill backs are processed. -Miscellaneous administrative functions including filing, email correspondence, special program support, and Procurement support when requested. -Human resources is no longer a function of this role, that is now handled by our HR Service Center. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES Performs other duties as assigned.

  • H.S. diploma/GED General High School subjects.
  • Associate's degree Accounting experience will be considered in lieu of college education preferred.
  • Five (5) years or more experience in a related field
  • Five (5) years or more experience Clerical, administrative, Accounting and supervisory experience
