About The Position

The Operations Coordinator at Univar Solutions plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient execution of transactions within the SAP ERP System and supporting daily Operations Management activities. This position involves close collaboration with Operations Managers and Supervisors to manage inbound and outbound shipments, inventory control, and compliance with internal and external requirements. The Operations Coordinator also acts as a liaison for internal partners, coordinating shipments and managing vendor relationships.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required.
• 1-2 years experience managing transactions through SAP ERP system preferred.
• Technical acumen and familiarity with standard business computer systems.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize daily tasks.

Nice To Haves

• Experience within the Chemical Industry or other highly regulated fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute transactional activities through the SAP ERP System, including receiving materials into inventory, assigning storage locations, directing material picks for customer shipments, reviewing process orders, and managing documentation.
• Support critical Plant Operations Management activities, including managing procurement of materials, vendor setup, invoice management, and reconciliation.
• Coordinate communication with other departments regarding sales order inventory availability, shipment status, and inbound materials.
• Support inventory control processes, including cycle count management, inventory adjustments, and container tracking.
