About The Position

This role is with Marken, UPS Healthcare Precision Logistics, which is the clinical and advanced therapy part of UPS Healthcare. Marken aims to reach patients faster with greater scalability and access to new pathways throughout the supply chain, leveraging the One UPS advantage and a comprehensive service portfolio including Polar Speed's in-network pharmacies. The Operations Coordinator manages the delivery of contracted services to customers, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) are met or exceeded. The position supports business products by collaborating with vendors, customers, and internal support groups, and is responsible for daily facility activities such as government compliance, inbound receipts, kitting, order processing, supplier procurement, inventory management, staffing, facility inspections, employee engagement, development, safety, security, and profitability. It also involves financial activities like forecasting, allocations, adjustments, and creating annual business plans. The coordinator is responsible for strengthening customer relationships, identifying operational improvements, and may support field stocking locations and agent networks. The role involves hands-on, manual work related to core UPS business operations, following established procedures, and requires advanced skills. The individual typically acts as a lead, coordinating and checking the work of others without being a supervisor, and works autonomously within established practices. Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
  • Advanced skills typically gained through a combination of training and considerable on-the-job experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the delivery or deployment of contracted services to customers to ensure that SLAs (service level agreements) and KPI (key performance indicators) as defined in the relevant contracts are met or exceeded.
  • Supports business products by collaborating with vendors, customers, and other internal support groups.
  • Responsible for daily facility activities related to government compliance, inbound receipts, kitting, processing orders, procuring suppliers, managing inventory, staffing, facility inspections, employee engagement, development, safety, security, profitability, etc.
  • Performs a variety of financial activities including forecasting, allocations, adjustments and creating annual business plans to meet business unit and corporate initiatives.
  • Responsible for retaining and strengthening customer relationships which may include face to face customer service.
  • Identifies and recommends opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness, and capabilities of the operation.
  • May provide support to field stocking locations (FSL), agent locations across multiple geographies, and support the provider network.
  • May operate powered industrial equipment.
  • Delivers hands-on work, typically related to the core UPS business operations.
  • Follows established processes and procedures to execute work efficiently and safely.
  • Performs manual work that requires advanced skills typically gained through a combination of training and considerable on-the-job experience.
  • Typically acts as a lead, coordinating and checking the work of others – but not as a supervisor.
  • Works autonomously within established procedures and practices.
