This role plays a critical part in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and operational insight, while partnering closely with operations and leadership teams in a fast-paced hospitality, retail, or food & beverage environment.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of progressive accounting or financial management experience
  • Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reporting
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Experience in hospitality, retail, and/or food & beverage environments
  • Hands-on experience with SAP and QuickBooks
  • Experience supporting audits and financial reviews

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data in accordance with GAAP
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to leadership
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes in partnership with operations
  • Analyze variances between actuals, budgets, and forecasts and explain results to management
  • Support strategic decision-making through financial modeling and analysis
  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls, policies, and procedures
  • Support audits and ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, systems, and reporting efficiency
  • Utilize SAP and QuickBooks to manage financial transactions and reporting
  • Leverage advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, macros, complex formulas) for analysis and reporting
  • Partner with IT and operations on system enhancements or implementations
