The Operations Controller at Cirtec Medical Corporation will serve as a strategic partner in the manufacturing plant, focusing on developing and executing long-term operations strategies. This role involves monitoring financial operational metrics, driving process improvements, and participating in significant decision-making processes to enhance financial performance and operational efficiency.

  • Develop robust processes and reporting for operational activities that drive financial results.
  • Lead the redevelopment of the standard cost process, including labor rates, routings, and material costs.
  • Collaborate with Finance peers at other sites to share best practices and drive process improvements.
  • Enhance and develop reporting metrics and tools for plant performance reporting.
  • Ensure delivery of financial commitments made by the Operations team.
  • Achieve savings targets related to key capital investments.
  • Support new capital investments and sourcing decisions with sound financial analyses.
  • Develop tools for future project leverage.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar.
  • At least 7 years of related business experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, preferably in contract manufacturing.
  • Strong experience in driving key metrics and reporting, anticipating key issues based on forecasts and manufacturing capacity.
  • Honed analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong propensity for action.
  • Ability to communicate analyses and performance metrics clearly and compellingly.
  • Strong influencing skills with a track record of highlighting opportunities and partnering on action plans.
  • Well-developed cost/managerial accounting skills, including standard cost and project cost accounting.
  • Ability to overhaul existing standard cost systems.
  • Strong understanding of BOM's, Routing, and variances and their interaction with ERP systems.
  • Experience applying Operational Excellence and Lean tools in business management.
  • Documented leadership in business and organizational change across multiple companies.
