We have a fantastic opportunity to join our growing team based at our brand new U.S. HQ in Nashville, Tennessee. This role will be the first dedicated operations hire and will play a key role in the ramp-up and continued scaling and improvement of our U.S. facility. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of our office whilst providing facilities and general support in all things operations. You will essentially be the glue that holds the physical space together, enabling the team to execute as required, with your remit expected to grow over time

Requirements

  • 3+ years of general operations experience
  • Experience managing relationships with multiple 3rd party service providers
  • Good written & communication skills, with the ability to train and impart knowledge onto others
  • A flexible and proactive mindset with a can-do attitude
  • Forward thinker, problem solver and able to work on their own initiative with minimal supervision
  • Able to prioritize tasks within a fast and challenging environment
  • Experience of stores inventory management systems
  • Working knowledge of health and safety rules and regulations

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with hardware / mechanical build components (i.e. nuts, bolts, hand and power tools, sheet metal, etc)
  • Experience operating forklift / scissor lifts - desirable

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the smooth running of our offices and warehouse facilities
  • Being the go-to person for office management queries, liaising with internal stakeholders and managing external service providers.
  • Overseeing guest/visitor experience onsite ensuring a positive welcome for our visitors.
  • Own the Health & Safety administration; ensuring First Aid and Fire Safety compliance is updated on a weekly basis, performing checks on emergency lighting, defibrillators, fire extinguishers, and fire alarm systems. Updating our H&S platform regularly.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all facilities and equipment are properly maintained. Administration of security passes.
  • Managing receipt and distribution of incoming stock & materials
  • Carrying out basic goods inward QC activities - such as documentation, part count, identification and condition
  • Booking items into stock and updating inventory records accordingly
  • Managing the GI supplier rejections and returns process
  • Performing regular and accurate stock-taking duties
  • Manage & organise 3rd party couriers
  • Assistance with packing of Robots for delivery to events & customer sites
  • Other ad-hoc duties as required.
