Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED with six years of work-related experience in agriculture, supply chain, or manufacturing
  • Valid driver's license (driving record must meet company guidelines based on Risk Screening for Hiring Drivers; MVR will be reviewed as part of pre-employment screening).

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in agriculture, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Business, Engineering, with three years of work-related experience in agriculture, supply chain, or manufacturing
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey accurate, clear, and detailed information
  • Proficiency in leveraging data for decision-making and adopting new technologies to develop digital acumen
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, including influencing, coaching, facilitation, conflict resolution, and relationship management
  • Results-oriented mindset with the ability to make effective decisions after evaluating various courses of action and their impacts
  • Demonstrated success in fostering a site culture dedicated to environmental SSHE, regulatory compliance, and quality performance

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safe and timely delivery of quality supply based on production schedules while maintaining an efficient operation
  • Organize and execute research protocols and operational plans for the site's day-to-day priorities
  • Support the implementation of innovative technology solutions to improve research design and operational success through new tools and methodologies
  • Operate research equipment, take notes, manage data using internal IT systems, and comply with regulated seed stewardship standards
  • Complete and/or participate in safety inspections and training while adhering to all policies and standard operating procedures
  • Organize and execute daily priorities independently or as the leader of a small team
  • Train team members and seasonal employees in standard operating procedures, safety guidelines, and tool operations
  • Provide innovative solutions and technical expertise while planning, directing, and coordinating activities of others
  • Lead and monitor projects to ensure completion within deadlines and budgets, ensuring alignment with site strategy
  • Contribute to community outreach efforts to foster positive relations within the surrounding community
  • Identify and resolve production pipeline challenges, ensuring visibility and resolution
  • Engage with site leadership to align on vision and report on measurable milestones and deliverables
  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise and autonomy in task execution, including proficiency across multiple machine platforms, tools, technologies, and workflows
