About The Position

AMS Fulfillment is seeking to hire Equipment Operators for their Newark, DE and New Castle, DE locations. This full-time position involves safely operating reach trucks and forklifts to move products throughout the warehouse, take accurate inventory counts, and load/unload materials from vehicles and equipment. Operators are also responsible for maintaining equipment according to safety regulations, keeping their work area clean, completing daily logs and reports, and undergoing required training for equipment certification. The role requires working Monday to Friday during the day shift.

Requirements

Experience operating a Reach truck and forklift safely
1 year of experience with reach trucks
Ability to follow instructions
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to work as part of a team
Ability to work productively
Ability to maintain a positive attitude
Ability to take initiative
Ability to meet deadlines
Ability to work independently
Ability to get certified on equipment (training provided for the certification)

Responsibilities

Move product throughout the warehouse to proper location
Take an accurate count of product
Load and unload materials and products from vehicles and equipment
Assist with loading and unloading trucks
Maintain equipment by following safety rules and regulations
Keep equipment in good working order
Keep work area clean and organized
Complete required training to get certified on equipment
Complete daily logs, daily reports and inventory reports
Perform other related duties as assigned or directed by supervisor or manager (includes, but not limited to, performing other similar duties in other departments or locations as needed)
