We’re looking for an experienced Quality Operations Associate for our Insurance Operations team who is passionate about improving the landscape for mental healthcare. This role is designed to support Grow Therapy’s Credentialing and Insurance Operations functions by building robust quality assurance processes, auditing workflows, and ensuring operational compliance. The Operations Associate - Quality will help prevent errors, improve workflows, and ensure scalability as our operations expand. Eventually, you will serve as our go-to person for everything quality operations for the credentialing special projects team. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for building and maintaining systems for quality analysis for our insurance operations infrastructure. This will involve researching, planning, and scoping out various insurance operations processes, implementing processes that enable us to be proactive with issue resolution, and building out metrics to help track the success of our operations. This will require great communication skills as well as an eye for detail and organization in order to manage the process from start to finish.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of QA, auditing, or operations analysis experience in healthcare, ideally within credentialing and enrollment.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare provider onboarding, credentialing, and payor operations.
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to identify downstream impacts of process changes.
  • Excellent documentation and written communication skills.
  • Experience applying structured process improvement methodologies (Lean Six Sigma certification preferred).
  • Technical aptitude with tools like HubSpot, Jira, or Workato.

Responsibilities

  • Audit workflows systematically: Conduct detailed audits of credentialing, enrollment, and special projects to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Perform pre-launch QA: Validate new processes and automations before launch, ensuring compliance with regulatory and business requirements.
  • Document findings and track remediation: Create structured reports, recommend solutions, and monitor implementation progress to ensure accountability.
  • Develop and maintain QA frameworks: Build standardized methodologies, audit templates, and KPIs to measure and improve quality.
  • Analyze historical processes: Identify recurring inefficiencies and propose systemic solutions to prevent future rework.
  • Support cleanup projects: Partner with cross-functional teams to remediate legacy process issues and align with payor expectations.
  • Apply structured methodologies: Use Lean Six Sigma or equivalent approaches to drive process improvements that scale effectively.
