What You'll Be Doing The Advisory Account Services Associate is responsible for aiding in driving departmental results by opening, terminating, and processing changes to advisory accounts under direct supervision. This position requires the ability to gain a sound understanding of the Account Services processes while serving as a liaison to internal and external stakeholders. This position will require collaboration among team members and branch personnel to execute on instructions submitted by the branch on behalf of our clients. What We're Looking For Accurately process all advisory account requests while adhering to departmental procedures and guidelines provided by leadership Proficient processing of new and existing advisory accounts in all systems used for the advisory platform Identify potential problems or issues that fall outside of standard procedures and escalate to department leadership if necessary Develop effective communication skills within the department around the multiple facets of the advisory account process Provide timely updates on progression of job responsibilities to leadership Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively within a team What You'll Bring Ability to attain a general understanding of industry rules/regulations and Stifel policies that pertain to the department Strong attention to detail skills to minimize risk to the firm Initiative and self-direction when performing tasks with the ability to organize and prioritize effectively in order to meet deadlines Able to handle large workloads that vary based on heavy volume periods Ability to work autonomously throughout the day based on performance criteria provided by leadership Education & Experience Minimum Required: High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred- Bachelor's Degree Minimum Required: 0-2 year of Financial Services experience Systems & Technology Proficient in Outlook and Microsoft Office products #LI-AS1 About Stifel Stifel is more than 130 years old and still thinking like a start-up.
