About The Position

As the Operations Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring operations run smoothly. Each day will look different, and you will be responsible for a variety of operational and administrative support functions at an assigned line of business within Pursuit's Alaska Collection.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hospitality or a related industry preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to complete tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Support the daily operation and operations management teams.
  • Submit and track incident reports for assigned line of business.
  • Monitor, track, and report on team member training progress and completion within ExpandShare platform.
  • Assist with coordinating team member housing assignments in partnership with Operations management and Employee Experience Coordinator.
  • Coordinate and execute new team member onboarding and orientation in partnership with People & Culture.
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for J1 students, assisting with inquiries and providing support.
  • Plan and coordinate team trips and activities in partnership with Operations management and Employee Experience Coordinator.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute team communications and town hall meetings.
  • Collaborate with team leaders to compile relevant information for communication channels and town hall presentations.
  • Act as the initial point of contact for team members seeking assistance.
  • Address and resolve basic team member inquiries and escalate more complex issues to the People & Culture team.
