About The Position

Come join our Exciting program that supports unclassified and classified software development and integration services. Some of the work we do is: brand new Big Data, data analysis, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and advanced analytics, while other work will be refining and improving legacy development, as well as providing operations and maintenance. The Operations and Maintenance Engineer's Responsibilities include, but are not limited to : Monitor system health Troubleshoot system problems Maintain storage systems. Provide after-hours on-call/call-in support on a rotational basis, Ensure system security requirements are satisfied, Create/maintain system scripts, Patch/upgrade system, Administer user accounts. Requirements

  • 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience; Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience; a PhD and 0+ years of relevant experience; an additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement
  • Experience managing and monitoring large clusters (>400 nodes) and applications both containerized and non-containerized.
  • Experience implementing and providing technical support of multi-platform, multi-system networks.
  • Active TS/SCI with Poly
  • Ability to obtain Security+CE certification (must obtain before starting)

Nice To Haves

  • Technical experience and knowledge of distributed storage networks, routing and application messaging frameworks.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of analytical needs and requirements, query syntax, data flows, and traffic manipulation.
  • Experience with Splunk Dashboards
  • Experience with managing systems both on-prem and in AWS
  • Experience with Certification & Accreditation processes
