Positioned strategically and equipped with state-of-the-art technology, it plays a crucial role in meeting regional energy demands, highlighting advancements in sustainable and reliable power generation. Opportunity Summary The Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Technician at the Michigan Power Facility performs and supports plant operations, including start-up, normal operation, and shutdown, to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient generation. This role operates and monitors turbines, generators, and auxiliary systems, responds to alarms, assists with troubleshooting and maintenance, completes logs and documentation, and participates in shift turnovers. The O&M Technician also supports emergency operations, participates in training and CRO qualification activities, and adheres to all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements to maintain compliance and a strong safety culture.
