About The Position

The Operations and Commercial Support Specialist supports Property Management teams by completing a variety of specialized administrative and financial duties for assigned multifamily residential properties. The Operations and Commercial Support Specialist frequently assists with special projects. We believe everyone at Goldmark is a leader! The Operations and Commercial Support Specialist will take pride in serving others and delivering a caring and professional experience for our residents, our owners, and our fellow team members. This role works in-office Monday through Friday approximately 25 hours per week.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, vehicle, and vehicle insurance per company requirements.
  • Customer service experience and a strong customer service mind-set.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to relate to a diverse group of people.
  • Self-driven with an ability to organize work, manage time, multi-task, and prioritizes responsibilities.
  • Team player who works well and supports everyone to achieve our goals and objectives.
  • Proficiency of the English language in reading, writing and verbal communication.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in property management or a related industry is preferred, but not required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite including SharePoint, Word, Outlook and Excel is preferred.
  • Yardi Property Management Software preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist and complete special projects as assigned.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with residents, team members and commercial clients by addressing and responding to requests, questions, and concerns.
  • Assist with the renewal process while following all regulatory guidelines.
  • Support in covering office hours for assigned properties as directed.
  • Enter rent checks and money orders as directed.
  • Work with Operations Support Manager/Regional Manager to research and document variances.
  • Review Gross Potential Rent (GPR) reports, researching and resolving errors based on location.
  • Approve payables.
  • Enter charge refunds or charge offs.
  • Approve supply orders as directed.
  • Authorize security deposit returns.
  • Assist with prepays and delinquency review.
  • Follow and maintain property security and key management.
  • Assist with vendor management by negotiating and verifying vendor rates and completing vendor contracts.
  • Assist in auditing documents to ensure compliance with Goldmark policies.
