About The Position

A regional boutique firm specializing in property & casualty, life insurance, and estate planning for affluent families and business owners is seeking an Operations & Case Management Specialist to support continued growth. This position plays a critical role in managing the end-to-end life insurance application process, ensuring operational efficiency, and delivering a seamless client and advisor experience.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience in life insurance operations, case management, or related financial services.
Familiarity with life insurance products, underwriting processes, and carrier procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat (including fillable/editable PDFs).
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience with CRM platforms such as SmartOffice, Salesforce, or AgencyBloc preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee the complete life insurance application process from contracting/licensing through policy delivery.
Communicate directly with clients, advisors, and business partners to ensure timely updates and coordination.
Order and track underwriting requirements including paramedical exams, labs, and attending physician statements.
Maintain proactive communication and regular progress updates for all stakeholders.
Manage agency workflows, systems, and compliance documentation.
Maintain accurate and organized records within the firm’s CRM and digital filing systems.
Prepare, edit, and manage fillable PDF forms, applications, and other client documentation.
Utilize electronic signature platforms such as DocuSign for document execution and client onboarding.
