About The Position

The Operations and Business Management AVP role within the Enterprise Services and Public Affairs, Community Investing and Development is a key member of the Community Investing and Development (CID) team, reporting to the Operations and Business Management SVP. The CID team works to enhance Citi’s positive social impact through equity investing, innovative financial solutions, and strategic philanthropy. The AVP will support development, oversight and maintenance of a best-in-class operations framework and execution across the function.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of related work experience
  • Excellent project management and problem-solving skills
  • Highly proficient in Excel and ability to gain a strong command of new systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be a team player, take direction, and have a keen ability to prioritize
  • Must be detail oriented and organized
  • Good customer service skills

Responsibilities

  • Support oversight of CID risk management and operations practices
  • Build a knowledge base on Citi risk requirements and best practices and support dissemination across the CID function
  • Supports management and assists in ensuring adherence CID department to enterprise programs such as MCA, COB, Third Party Management, Annual Risk Assessments, Information Security, Records Management, etc.
  • Support timely execution of the Managers Control Assessment (MCA) program, including the monitoring and testing of key controls as necessary, and documentation and tracking of Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) resulting from internal audit efforts and processes reviews
  • Participate in cross-functional process reviews for CID business units, coordinate follow-up items as needed and assist in identifying and implementing process improvements and efficiency opportunities
  • Liaise with senior staff across CID to analyze, document, and escalate any operations related concerns or issues to senior management, as appropriate
  • Support the coordination of internal and external audits and support business issues and Corrective Action Plans (CAPs)
  • Works issues/projects as assigned to support improvements and assist in other aspects of business management as necessary
  • Provides business-specific support to business activity owners related to technology and vendor management
