As an Operations Analyst, you'll serve as a strategic partner to our Operations Systems & Support team, transforming complex data into meaningful insights that drive smarter decisions across Retail Operations. This role blends advanced analytics, financial modeling, forecasting, and machine learning to improve labor efficiency, store performance, and long-term operational planning—supporting both day-to-day execution and key 2026 initiatives. Why this role matters: This role directly impacts labor efficiency, store-level financial performance, and enterprise decision-making by enabling leaders to plan, forecast, and execute with confidence using accurate, actionable data. Location/Schedule: This role is based at our Salt Lake City Headquarters with a 4-day hybrid in-office schedule.

  • Develop, automate, and maintain operational dashboards and reports focused on labor modeling, productivity, compliance, and execution metrics.
  • Analyze labor forecasts, store performance trends, and operational KPIs to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and execution consistency.
  • Support store-level budget development by partnering cross-functionally with Finance, Workforce Management, and Operations leaders.
  • Build, test, and enhance machine-learning and regression-based forecasting models to improve labor allocation, workload planning, and reporting accuracy.
  • Enhance AIP and OES metrics and dashboards to ensure clear performance visibility and actionable insights for leaders.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses and present insights and recommendations that influence operational strategy and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain data integrity and governance standards across reporting platforms including Ridgeline, UKG, Zenput, ServiceNow, and Trailhead.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners across Operations, Finance, HR Tech, Communications, and Workforce Management on reporting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives.
  • 3-5 years of experience in operations, reporting, or data analytics, preferably in a retail, convenience store, or multi-unit environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, Power Query, complex formulas, and lookups.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in SQL and R or Python for data transformation, modeling, and automation.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate finance, including budgeting and P&L analysis, to support store-level financial planning.
  • Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences.

  • Experience with machine-learning concepts, forecasting models, or regression-based algorithms.
  • Experience working with systems such as Ridgeline, UKG, Zenput, Trailhead, or similar enterprise platforms.
  • Certification or coursework in Data Analytics or Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
