As a Operations Analyst Sr within PNC's Mutual Fund Processing organization, you will be based in Cleveland, OH. This position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at manager’s discretion. Operations Analyst Sr duties will include but not be limited to the processing of trades and posting of dividends. Individual must have a strong attention to detail and accuracy is critical. Must be proactive. It will be critical to build upon job knowledge. Operations Analyst Sr must be proactive, sense of urgency, must complete trade deadlines and posting of dividends. Operations Analyst Sr will be responsible for making outbound calls into business partners and mutual fund companies (not directly with clients). A strong background with math skills, computer processing knowledge (Word, Excel, OneNote), and a professional etiquette is necessary for Operations Analyst Sr being successful within the role.

  • Executes complex transactions/processes utilizing standard procedures.
  • Processes and/or reconciles complex transactions of varying risk and financial value in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Identifies and addresses exceptions and serves as a point of escalation for complex transactions.
  • Partners internally with service partners to route calls, documents or other action items to complete transactions.
  • Ensures the appropriate materials, documentation and capacity are available to complete transactions.
  • Provides consultation and advice to internal and external customers.
  • Reviews existing processes, recommends improvements and may assist with implementation.
  • Participates in and may serve as a subject matter resource for process improvement projects.
  • May assist in training and onboarding of new hires.
  • Reviews transactions and related documents and verifies work processes to ensure completeness, accuracy and conformance to established service levels and applicable policies and procedures.
  • May review reports to identify exceptions, monitor quality and ensure compliance.
  • May participate in risk mitigation activities.
  • Typically requires 3+ years experience.
  • An Associates or equivalent degree as well as related experience or product knowledge.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proactive with a sense of urgency.
  • Strong background with math skills and computer processing knowledge (Word, Excel, OneNote).
