The Operations Analyst will be responsible for setting up new client portfolios within Parametric's accounting system. Assets could include cash, equity securities, fixed income securities. Daily volume is high, and the analyst will interact with client service, trading, portfolio management, and other teams at Parametric.

  • Establish prospect accounts in Parametric's portfolio accounting system (APX) for our portfolio managers to run optimizations on the client securities and cash
  • Resolve exceptions in a timely manner
  • Research and troubleshoot any issues with existing and prospect client's portfolio
  • Work with internal teams to resolve issues that are found during the prospect account set-up process
  • Gain proficiency and understanding of task allocations and team policies and procedures in order to mitigate risk
  • Assist with coverage when team members are out and cross train to ensure coverage
  • Perform various daily, weekly, and monthly checks
  • 4-year degree, preferably in related discipline such as economics, finance, or marketing; work experience in lieu of degree will be considered
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office especially Excel
  • Ability to work independently and self-manage high volumes of data with tight deadlines
