The Operations Analyst II position within the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) HR Management is responsible for conducting independent research and analysis to provide staffing recommendations and guidance on personnel-related actions. The role involves maintaining databases, reviewing personnel procedures, and ensuring compliance with regulations in a confidential capacity under limited supervision.

  • Conduct reviews and provide guidance regarding division personnel positions and related programs.
  • Perform independent research and analysis to make organizational staffing recommendations to senior management.
  • Initiate and review personnel position-related actions such as classification packets, hiring packets, and salary changes for efficiency and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain various databases related to personnel matters.
  • Review, analyze, and research personnel procedures and retention issues.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to compile and assimilate moderately complex data and prepare reports.
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access).
  • Experience in researching and compiling data for reports.
  • Knowledge of personnel/classification related actions.
  • Experience in the field of personnel, human resources, and processing related actions.
