The Operations Advisor - Set Up role at United Franchise Group involves overseeing the startup program for franchisee stores, ensuring that all technical and operational aspects are effectively implemented. This position requires frequent travel to various locations to provide training, support, and compliance checks, while also maintaining communication with franchisees to address their needs and challenges.

  • Implements franchisee store startup program: 1-week pre-setup, 1-week technical setup, and operational assessments.
  • Pre-setup - unloads and organizes fixtures, assembles equipment and furniture, sets up computers and installs software.
  • Conducts store visits and submits all required paperwork within company guidelines.
  • Trains and reinforces franchisees and store employees to comply with franchise model and system.
  • Instructs franchisees and store employees on software packages and safe operation of production equipment.
  • Consults with franchisees to ascertain and define needs or problem areas and determines scope of investigation required to obtain solutions.
  • Attends Regional Meetings.
  • Advises Support and Launch Department on issues identified through communication with franchisees.
  • Follows up with franchisees on behalf of Support Department.
  • Compiles brand compliance data and helps franchisees upgrade their image.
  • Completes, maintains, and processes required paperwork, records, and daily reports.
  • Maintains daily and weekly schedule in Microsoft Outlook (minimum of two weeks in advance).
  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent education from College or Technical school OR 2-4 years of related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Technical aptitude and ability to quickly pick up new technologies.
  • Experience with MS Office, graphic design software, point-of-sale (POS) software, and accounting software is a plus.
  • Eligible driver's license and valid automobile insurance is required.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to travel 75%-90% and maintain a credit card with an available credit limit to cover expenses.
