About The Position

This position could be responsible for maintaining production database, keeping official records and executing administrative work and policies. Responsibilities include handling routine inquiries and requests, directing calls or taking messages, greeting or directing visitors, permitting authorized persons to enter properly, compiles and maintains control records and related files for flock certification and blood testing. Maintains processing requirements and is responsible for supply inventory control, other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience: High school diploma and two (2) plus years related experience preferred.
  • Accountability/Role: Performs clerical duties such as document processing, record keeping and report compilation of intermediate difficulty. Requiring depth of analysis and use of individual judgment. Has a sound knowledge of procedures. Typically requires prior experience and operates under general supervision. Performs moderately complex work assignments including operations of specialized system. Requires frequent supervision of work.
  • Computer Skills: Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and have the ability to learn new computer programs.
  • Travel: None
  • Special Requirements: Valid Drivers License
  • Biosecurity: This job site is a bio security environment which requires showering before entering the facility and could require multiple showers during the work day. Appropriate clothing and footwear are provided by the company. No jewelry may be worn on the job site except for medical ID jewelry. Must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid any avian species like chickens, ducks, and birds. The companies animal welfare policy must be followed at all times. Must be willing to follow the guidelines in all Cobb Farm Bio-Security Standards.
  • Physical: Must use safe lifting techniques while performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to touch, handle or feel objects, tools or controls. Reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, talk or hear. The team member must occasionally lift or move up to 25 lbs.
