About The Position

The Operations Administrative Assistant provides clerical, administrative, and operational support to management to ensure efficient day-to-day operations. This role assists with coordinating tasks, maintaining records, and supporting internal processes across the organization. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. This opportunity is available on either a full-time or part-time basis, depending on business needs and candidate availability.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks with excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of how to operate standard business equipment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software
  • Experience with Epicor; and/or other ERP Software systems.
  • High School Diploma required.
  • 2+ years’ experience in an administrative setting.

Nice To Haves

  • Certificate or Associate’s Degree in Administrative Support preferred.
  • Experience in manufacturing or machine shop environment a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assists management and support staff with assigned duties.
  • Greets visitors and maintains the front desk/entry area, including monitoring and restocking front desk supplies.
  • Answers and directs incoming calls.
  • Reviews customer portals and imports demand forecasts into the ERP system; maintains forecast accuracy.
  • Processes and enters customer sales orders into the ERP/MRP system and confirms accurate delivery information with customers.
  • Enters new parts into the ERP/MRP system as required.
  • Maintains breakroom and office supplies; submits purchase requisitions as needed.
  • Reviews and files documents from Customer Service, Maintenance, and Operations; uploads and maintains records within document storage software.
  • Assists with company events, luncheons, and customer/vendor on-site visits.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
