About The Position

As an Operations Accounting Manager at Fenix Parts, you will manage all aspects of monthly accounting transitions, provide ongoing training and development for Yard Accounting Assistants, and support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. You will also serve as the lead M&A coordinator for the Finance team and manage supervisors.

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience managing accounting teams, with 5+ years of total accounting experience. Ability to direct and supervise effectively.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in manipulating large amounts of data
  • Advanced skills in MS Office, accounting software, and databases.
  • Up to 50% travel required for various projects and acquisitions.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily accounting operations between the operations and accounting departments, ensuring smooth collaboration and accurate data management.
  • Analyze accounting data and produce necessary reports and statements.
  • Establish and enforce accounting methods, policies, and principles to ensure compliance.
  • Manage daily receivables, payables, and cash receipts balancing.
  • Direct and supervise accounting staff to ensure compliance and accuracy in all financial matters.
  • Ensure the achievement of financial accounting objectives.
  • Play a key role in acquisitions, focusing on conversions and ensuring smooth integration of company-wide accounting standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Undertake special projects as requested by the Corporate Controller.
