About The Position

Objective of job: Check in and load trucks with prepared shipments that are properly labeled using the required Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT's). Principal activities: Inspect incoming parts/goods/materials for clearly recognizable damage (e.g. packaging, part/material, etc.); make yes/no decisions Sort out damaged parts/batches, place in blocked storage area Carry out simple transport within a limited area of the plant Assemble and forward transported goods documentation (e.g. accompanying papers, packing slips, hazardous materials documentation, etc.) according to the order Simple input (e.g. bar code, etc.) of given data (e.g. identification numbers, quantities, weights, etc.) Assist with inventory control/inventory (e.g. counting, weighing, etc.); report deviations Check and compare quantities of parts/goods/materials with accompanying papers (e.g. count, weigh, compare ID numbers, etc.) Prepares shipments according to the “Daily Shipping Requirements” from HOST. Use Scanners to verify shipments and create packing list for bulk orders and PNW2 shipments Use Scanner to move media to media Stage and unload all shipments in corresponding areas Ensure materials are clear of recognizable damage. Carry out simple transport within a limited area of the plant Ensure that products are not damaged during the transportation. If damages during the transportation occur, assure that products pass a quality inspection. Check and compare quantities, part numbers, and labels with accompanying papers Use Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT’s) to stage, load and transport material. Maintains good housekeeping using the 6S principles. Performs PIT inspections to ensure equipment is in proper working order and follows all safety guidelines for the work area. Ensure the timely delivery of parts and materials. Be cooperative with co-workers in order to maintain a good working environment.

Requirements

  • 1 to 2 years of Manufacturing experience

Nice To Haves

  • Stand-up/Reach Forklift Certification is a plus
  • Sit-Down Forklift Certification is a plus
