The Honda Development and Manufacturing Production Engineering team is responsible for the operational technology security of the manufacturing environment. The OT Security Site Lead works across multiple technical and business areas to facilitate implementation of the regional OT security initiatives and provide onsite support for core security functions of asset management, vulnerability remediation, and equipment backup and recovery as well as support for incident management. The role is the primary collaborator with IT/business users to ensure secure operation at the site.

  • Lead interface with site members to facilitate execution of regional OT security initiatives including leading communication meetings, providing technical support, providing training, and managing project activity.
  • Achieve/maintain equipment asset visibility targets for the site through the vulnerability and intrusion detection systems (IDS).
  • Lead annual remediation plans for the site and support investigation and resolution of alerts from the IDS system.
  • Achieve/maintain equipment backup targets for the site, provide technical support for resolving issues, and lead incident response coordination with site members.
  • Contribute as a subject matter expert in developing OT security tools, systems, and processes across the prevention, vulnerability management, and incident response/recovery workstreams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Networking, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • 2+ years of experience with machine control networks / industrial control systems (ICS); basic understanding of communication networks, cybersecurity fundamentals.
  • Knowledge of industrial cybersecurity.
  • Strong verbal and written skills to communicate effectively both with customers and internal project teams.
  • Business acumen in a technical environment.
