About The Position

The Operational Support Specialist is aligned regionally to assist in ensuring the Company's mission and initiatives are reaching our operations and driving quality results. You will be serving consumers with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a group or independent living home-like setting. As an Operational Support Specialist, you will provide operational support to critical areas, ensuring that long-term fixes are implemented through onsite and hands-on support, remote oversight, and coaching/training with staff. Your role will involve educating operational and location staff on quality deliverables, tracking survey results, and assisting with survey preparation. You will also be responsible for reviewing and monitoring quarterly safety committee workbooks, monitoring infection control issues, auditing operational documentation and incident reports, and providing quality checks of homes. This includes verifying staffing ratios based on consumer needs, ensuring supply quantities and cleanliness, and conducting onsite reviews to correct issues immediately. In addition, you will assist, monitor, and coach locations to ensure that Plans of Correction are being carried out and that any punitive action related to survey quality is addressed. You will monitor Rest Assured cameras on a rotating schedule after hours, provide active treatment monitoring, and deliver remote and onsite training with Executive Directors and Program Managers to focus on critical quality initiatives while understanding the regulations and internal policies. Training and coaching various operational positions based on each team member's skillset will also be part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will manage the overall teams network site to ensure accurate data and materials are available and manage the policy and procedure manual in conjunction with Regional Directors. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
