About The Position

Kforce has a client in Jacksonville, FL that is seeking a highly organized, analytical, and proactive Operational Response Analyst to support their operational readiness, incident response, and day-to-day service delivery. This role serves as a key point of coordination during operational events, ensuring issues are triaged quickly, stakeholders are aligned, and response activities are executed efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor operational alerts, service disruptions, and incoming escalations, ensuring timely triage and resolution support
  • Act as the first point of coordination during operational incidents, engaging appropriate teams and tracking progress
  • Document incident timelines and actions, ensuring accurate updates to leadership and affected stakeholders
  • Assist in root-cause analysis and collection of post-incident data
  • Track daily operational metrics, trends, and indicators to identify potential risks or performance issues
  • Analyze data from incident systems, ticketing tools, or operational dashboards to highlight patterns or concerns
  • Recommend process adjustments or preventative measures based on findings
  • Provide clear, timely updates during operational events, ensuring technical and non-technical audiences are aligned
  • Draft and distribute incident summaries, operational reports, and notifications as required
  • Maintain strong working relationships across operations, IT, business units, and leadership
  • Support the development and maintenance of SOPs, escalation paths, runbooks, and operational workflows
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to streamline response processes
  • Ensure all operational activities are documented in compliance with internal standards
