Requirements

  • Possess a minimum of 3 years of robust industrial electrical experience.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with Electrical Code regulations.
  • Self-sufficiency in working with minimal supervision.
  • Strong troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting.
  • Exemplify drive, commitment, positive attitude, and high energy levels.
  • The ability to lift 60 pounds; ability to lift to 120 pounds with another person.
  • The ability to shovel heavy waste to shoulder height, sweep, & to use sharp objects in a safe manner.
  • Must be able to work in high temperatures, in excess of 100 degrees Fahrenheit for several hours during the day, as applicable.
  • Proficient understanding and application of: ABB/Danfoss VFD drives.

Responsibilities

  • Skillfully install, examine, replace, and repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fiber-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures, and various other electrical components.
  • Conduct comprehensive testing of electrical and electronic equipment and components, ensuring continuity, current, voltage, and resistance meet required standards.
  • Maintain, repair, test, and install critical electrical apparatus including switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators, and reactors, to uphold industrial functionality.
  • Expertly handle the installation, repair, testing, and maintenance of electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries, and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems.
  • Employ advanced troubleshooting techniques to diagnose and rectify issues with industrial, electrical, and electronic control systems and related devices.
  • Implement proactive preventive maintenance programs and maintain meticulous records to ensure the ongoing reliability of industrial electrical systems.
  • Install, calibrate, and maintain industrial instrumentation and associated devices with precision and care.
  • Interpret complex drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to plan and execute industrial electrical equipment installations accurately.
  • Adjust machinery and promptly replace defective parts to maintain optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Utilize machine tools such as lathes and grinders to fabricate necessary parts during machinery overhaul, maintenance, or setup.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks including cleaning and lubrication to uphold machinery performance and longevity.
