About The Position

The Operational Leadership Academy at Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) is a 20-week immersive program aimed at developing future operational leaders in the air cargo logistics sector. Participants will engage in a combination of college-level coursework and hands-on training, ultimately transitioning into a full-time Manager on Duty role. This position involves supervising teams responsible for cargo handling and ensuring operational excellence while prioritizing safety and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years' experience in supply chain roles.
• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• Open availability to work any shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to obtain an airport-issued security badge as required by TSA.
• Ability to clear WFS-NA pre-employment background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Warehouse, Airport Ramp, and Customer Service associates.
• Ensure timely movement of cargo using push carts, tugs, and forklifts.
• Lead the team in adherence to structured processes and safety guidelines.
• Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction, safety, security, and quality during assigned shifts.
• Control all operational aspects in accordance with corporate security and TSA regulations.
