About The Position

The Operational Language Analyst 2 at BTS Software Solutions is responsible for processing voice and graphic language materials to support SIGINT operations. This role requires proficiency in multiple languages and involves tasks such as translation, transcription, and gisting of audio and text materials. The position is based in Hanover, Maryland, with potential secondary locations in Bluffdale, Utah, and Wahiawa, Hawaii.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of full-time experience in language analysis or related field.
• Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) skill level 3 in audio translation and/or text translation into standard American English.
• 2 years of primary duty conducting translation, transcriptions, and gisting.
• Experience in crypto language processing within the last 4 years.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with databases and drafting skills.
• Experience with multiple languages including Arabic-Iraqi, Chinese-Mandarin, Spanish, and Russian.

Responsibilities

• Process voice and graphic language materials in support of SIGINT operations.
• Conduct translation, transcription, and gisting of audio and text materials.
• Compile working aids and draft reports based on translations.
• Perform crypto language processing, including scanning and recovering EEIs.
