Requirements

  • High school diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years of experience or associate’s degree with 6+ years of experience or BA/BS with 2+ years of experience or MBA/MS with any years of relevant experience.
  • Solid understanding of Process Monitoring systems, including knowledge of PLC/computer systems.
  • Ability to work effectively with site colleagues through the change process.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication capabilities.
  • Functional knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint and Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to organize data and plan for the future.
  • Experience in fostering a Continuous Improvement Culture.
  • Experience Performing Method 1s.
  • Experience in Lean (5S, VSM, TPM, SMED, etc).

  • Lean or Six Sigma Belt Certification.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the continuous improvement team to enhance and monitor operational excellence.
  • Partner with engineers to learn and implement techniques for improving packaging equipment reliability and efficiency.
  • Propose and implement improvements in site process technology focusing on quality, cost, and capacity optimization.
  • Lead, support, and coach data analysis using appropriate Operational Excellence (OpEx) tools including Six Sigma, Lean, and/or Innovation.
  • Conduct shared investigations with technical, compliance, and operations process team members.
  • Integrate Good Manufacturing Practices (GxP) and regulatory compliance into all project scopes, designs, and construction work.
  • Identify, analyze, prioritize, and execute business solutions, performing root cause analysis to eliminate repeat issues.
  • Support Quality and Safety investigations by coaching on Six Sigma methodologies and conducting safety inspections.
