About The Position

The Operational Excellence Manager supports the Director of Excellence in ensuring high‑quality, person-centered, and compliant service delivery across DDRC programs. This role assists in implementing quality assurance systems, monitoring program performance, supporting compliance activities, coordinating incident review processes, and providing training to staff on quality, rights, and reporting requirements. The Operational Excellence Manager helps maintain adherence to regulatory, contractual, and internal standards by conducting routine monitoring, preparing documentation, identifying trends, and supporting teams in addressing quality improvements. This position also assists with agency complaints, satisfaction surveys, and data management activities that promote service excellence and program integrity. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Public Administration, Psychology, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • 2–4 years of experience in intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) services, quality assurance, compliance, case management, or program oversight.
  • Knowledge of HCBS waivers, rights, incident reporting, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong writing, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to conduct audits, interpret regulations, and support staff learning.
  • Valid Colorado driver's license and ability to travel to program sites.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with IDD providers in quality or compliance roles.
  • Training experience or curriculum development skills.
  • Experience working with APS, law enforcement, or other oversight agencies.
  • Familiarity with the Final Settings Rule and person-centered practices.
