About The Position

The Operational Excellence Leader at Terex Corporation is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and execution of management systems aligned with the Genie Operating System. This role focuses on managing long-term strategic initiatives and annual operating plans within the Global Operations function, while also standardizing and facilitating continuous improvement activities across manufacturing and administrative environments. The position requires collaboration with various departments to ensure alignment with company priorities and effective reporting to the Global VP of Operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or business preferred.
  • MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.
  • 5 years of relevant experience in sourcing, engineering, and/or lean manufacturing.
  • Strong background in engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and lean.
  • Ability to demonstrate Terex Way Values consistently.
  • Effective leadership in strategic and tactical decision making.
  • Experience managing multi-functional, geographically diverse teams.

Responsibilities

  • Establish the long-term vision, strategy, and execution plan for Operations in collaboration with the Operations leadership team.
  • Design, maintain, and execute the Operations Management System.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in accordance with the Genie Operating System through functional assessments.
  • Standardize visual management of execution management and status of global strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate within the Operations function to align resources and activities with company priorities.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with Finance, HR, IT, Engineering, Product Management, Service, and Sales global teams.
  • Align goals, objectives, metrics, and projects to support business requirements and efficient operations.
  • Create and deliver clear reporting to the Global VP of Operations for monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews.
