Complete a final presentation outlining their internship experience, which may be presented to their direct supervisor and colleagues. Gain hands-on exposure to projects, team collaboration, and professional development opportunities designed to prepare them for future careers. Participate in learning sessions, networking opportunities, and community-building activities across the organization. Job Duties & Responsibilities:Join us for an exciting summer!  We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Opertional Excellence team as an intern.   As an Operational Excellence intern, you will support global initiatives that strengthen workplace organization, performance visibility, and employee engagement. This role provides hands-on exposure to lean principles, shop floor operations, and digital process improvement tools while collaborating with cross-functional and international teams to help standardize and enhance operational practices.   In this role, you will contribute to the development and rollout of global standards, improve internal systems that support employee-driven innovation, and help build reporting tools that enable better decision-making. Your work will focus on creating sustainable processes, improving usability of internal platforms, and supporting a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and rollout of global 5S standards, including standardized audit criteria and implementation processes.
  • Assist in the implementation and execution of the global Shop Floor Management standard to improve operational consistency and visibility.
  • Enhance the IdeaPlus Employee Recognition Program by improving system processes, reporting capabilities, and overall user experience.
  • Develop and maintain online tutorials and training resources to drive engagement and adoption of IdeaPlus tools.
  • Improve and optimize the IdeaPlus SharePoint site for better usability and accessibility.
  • (As time permits) Support the creation of Power BI dashboards and gain exposure to lean manufacturing tools such as value stream mapping and process mapping.
