About The Position
The Operational Excellence Intern at Cretex Medical will play a crucial role in supporting the Engineering department by focusing on various Operational Excellence projects. This internship is designed for students currently enrolled in a four-year degree program in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering. The intern will be involved in projects from the initial scope definition phase through to implementation, providing valuable technical support to internal customers and assisting with manufacturability assessments. The position requires a strong understanding of the company's Quality System, ISO standards, and medical device requirements, ensuring that all processes align with industry regulations. Interns will be expected to read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard operating procedures while collaborating with various business segments, including sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance. A key aspect of the role is to understand customer needs and the core business markets that Cretex Medical serves, which will help in delivering effective solutions and improvements.
